American Idol All Stars was the first American Idol-type game hosted at FGC. Originally hosted by Tom2433, the game involved players taking previous finalists from American Idol's past and do their best to find a song for their contestant under the constraint of certain themes. The FGC public would then vote after each episode resulting in the elimination of one or multiple contestants.
The initial format was similar to the earlier seasons of American Idol. The Top 24 were split into three groups of eight and each group was given one shot at the public vote. The Top Three in each group would automatically move on to the Top 12. Of the remaining contestants, those who faired better were invited to return in the Wild Card round where the three judges each chose one of the final three contestants to join the competition.
Despite being Wild Cards, the final two managed to redeem themselves throughout the season in the ultimate face-off in the final round. Despite being in the bottom three four times in the early rounds of the finals, it was Chris Daughtry/chillfact0r7 who manged to turn the game around when he bested Carly Smithson/ANDand19 on finale night and was crowned the first winner of the competition.

Below are the three semi-final groups with contestants listed in their performance order. In each group, three people advanced to the next round, based on votes by the viewers. Following those nine singers advancing, eight of the remaining 15 semi-finalists were selected by the judges to compete in the Wild Card round.
